Delusive Libertarianism:
  'libertarianish'
    Is Not A Word

About

‘Libertarianish’ is Not a Word

Being sort-of a libertarian is not being a libertarian. Ron Paul is not a libertarian. He is a long-term Republican, who also happens to be anti Iraq War. This makes him a damn sight better than the vast majority of contemporary Republicans; yet in the obstacle course known as rectitude of intent, better than your average Republican Pol, is not a laudable feat.

Libertarians should be held to a higher standard than just being an anti-war Republican, who doesn’t solicit gay sex in public restrooms.

Many of Paul’s proposals and ideas he desires to implement in society cannot even be mapped on a libertarian scalar. He has a strong tendency to social-authoritarianism. It is comical to see so many of Paul’s supporters respond to well-sourced critiques by pointing to his campaign website, as if the genre of fiction known as ‘campaign promises‘ somehow supersedes statements of fact.

Here is a fact:
Ron Paul is a long-term House of Representative member,
elected as a Republican, and represents a SE Texas district;
therefore Ron Paul is a Republican Politician.

Here is another fact:
Politicians have lied;
Politicians lie;
Politicians will lie.

It is up to you, the reader, to connect the dots.

You may be wondering, just what is the ADDPDG, who are their members; what gives them the right to judge Ron Paul; and what are their credentials? The ADDPDG is a small group, whose members are Friends of Liberty grown tired of the disinformation within the wonkage produced by think-tanks, policy organizations or whatever mantle these entities of propagandizing wrap themselves in. ADDPDG was and is intended to be parody. The depiction of Paul as libertarian is a brutally defamatory parody of reality. The ADDPDG is bemused at the high sheeple-factor indicated by Paul’s level of geek support. All of this blog’s authors have engaged these geek supporters elsewhere on the net. Exposing the Paul libertarian paradoxes has often resulted in replies that used three-monkey tactics of being blind, deaf and dumb. It has caused us to wonder if the old definition of Geek, carnival side-show freak who bites the heads off of live chickens and sticks screwdrivers up his nose to the handle in an effort to startle, amaze and scare the rubes, still has validity in our modern world. After 2 terms of GW Bush as America’s President, The Nation owes the future much more than a candidate picked by the grass-chewing herd and chimpanzees.

Enough of this RonPaulBottery! Are you incapable of thinking for yourself?

This is only our opinion, and a presentation of what we perceive. If you do not like it, then you are more than welcome to not read.
